By wisdom, a house is built, and through understanding, it is establishedthrough knowledge; its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. (Proverbs 24:3-4)
Deborah, Esther, and Jael are commonly celebrated women who changed the course of many nations. However, in 2 Samuel 20:16-22, there is a story of another wise woman. Her name is not mentioned, but she is only described by her wisdom! Her wise counsel averted the destruction of a city by an army commander! Another wise woman who intercepted a military attack was Abigail.
Ladies, God has endowed us with supernatural wisdom that can change the course of our homes, families, children, marriages, finances, and even nations! As born-again Spirit-filled Christians, we have been equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit to pray and set course what is crooked, to level the paths and ensure the success of our personal lives, homes, families, and our descendants. Christ, who is the power and the wisdom of God, also lives in us (1Cor 1:18); in His matches Name and through we can do exploits. Therefore, we also seek the help of the Spirit of Wisdom to grant us wisdom and understanding in areas that we need (Isaiah 11:2, James 1:5).
A prayer for all ladies; may the Spirit of God grant you boldness and strength, and may your voices rise at the opportune time to release your wise counsel. May you be known for your wisdom. May your wisdom continually halt attacks in Jesus’ Name!
