TAKE JESUS AT HIS WORD

Easier said than done; right! Yet most of the time this is all we need to do; take God’s Word as it is and just believe that is done!

There are times that you cannot reach your prayer partner or your pastor to pray with you. There are times that the situation presents with no time to sit and pray, pull out the anointing oil or have laying of hands. In such circumstances all you have left is the Word and believe .

This is what this in John 4:50 -53 did. He asked Jesus to go over to his house to pray, but here is the account of the story—- The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his ways he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household.

The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and his petition was granted. Do  you have an issue that needs resolution? believe what God says about it as it. For example you want to finish your education – tell God, Father, I believe that you want to see me prosper in all things, I believe that Your Son Jesus is my wisdom, I also receive the Spirit of Wisdom. By saying these, you have just believed 3John 1:2, 1 Corinthians 1:24 and Isaiah 11:2

God and I have great relationship. In  most prayers, I quote His Word back to Him. This week take Jesus by His Word. Believe what He says about your situations in relation to His Word. God will watch over His Word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12. That is what happened to the official in John 4. 52-53-So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour he fever left him.” The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live
