At times in pursuit of answers to life issues, we tend to seek everywhere looking for breakthrough. This often comes after long periods of waiting and pressing through. On the other hand, it can also be matter of desiring a quick fix. In this quest we can jump from church to church, prophet to prophet, seeking for a word from someone with hopes of receiving the breakthrough but there is a place we often neglect, and that’s a place of one on one with God. We can go looking for answers all over while forgetting that God is always there waiting for us to acknowledge Him and seek Him for what we need.
This a short blog to anyone out there who could be frustrated of seeking. Can you reconsider God, and return to original place you had with Him? Recall the days you spoke to Him daily, the days He visited you frequently, the days dreams, visions and instructions were common. The days prayer and reading the word were priorities in your life. The days you sang and worshipped God by yourself when no one was around. Are you still seeking? Search no more, behold Jesus is right at your door, waiting for your open so that He can come and dine with you.
Jeremiah 33. 3 says, Call on Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not now. Revelation 3:20 says behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with Me.
Also, consider revisiting the original instructions God gave you regarding what you are seeking. The blueprint and more details are hidden in those instructions. Continue to seek Him in those. The short instruction is an invitation for more.
