The Biggest Loser remains my favorite TV show mostly because of the thrill of the transformation the contestants made. The show motivated me in fitness and I also learned some tips that I incorporated into my life. The biggest thrill was the “last chance workout”, it was the last exercise routine before the weigh in. Contestants, though exhausted, pushed themselves to optimize the needed weight loss to win the price.
As you work towards your goals or vision, it could be that by now, you have exhausted all you’ve got. There is a rush that comes with wanting to meet your goal. This exhaustion may come when you are close to the finish line; the final lap. It may require travailing, pushing through while you can’t just wait it get done; “oh if I could only wrap this up” you say.
My encouragement to you this week is to consider the prize that it ahead. Consider the payoff. The outcome is normally worth it. So, push through your studies, push through the homework, push through the business plan, push through the research paper or dissertation; push through the project deadline. If a challenge or obstacle comes while pushing, invite your Advocate and Helper the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide you. Disperse the angels God has assigned you to assist also. Considerate as your last chance work out; the great price is right in front of you. Consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
