LOOK OUT! THE ANSWER MAY COME FROM AN UNEXPECTED SOURCE

The beauty of God is that He is so relatable in that He loves to show up in our daily life affairs. I am not sure about you; but I am realizing that with time, God seems to show up as we are going about our lives. That’s when He seems to speak and teach louder; at least from my experience.

A few weeks ago, while in Orlando, He gave me one of these practical live teachings. I had just left the fitness room in the hotel and was headed back to my room to get ready for the day. The problem was with the keypad. For some reason, it could not work to open the elevators. So, knowing my dilemma, as I left the gym, I prayed, “Lord please let someone exit the elevator so that I access it as they leave. So, I stood by the elevator for about a minute facing and looking straight at the elevator. A minute later, I saw a lady walking from my left side; she keyed the elevator and we both got in.

I smiled and exclaimed; wow, Lord you have just taught me a lesson at 6:20 am in the morning. You see, the Lord answered my prayer. All I needed was the elevator door to be opened. It did not matter to God how it got opened! While I stood, and stared at the elevator for someone to get off it; the Lord instead, brought the answer through a totally unexpected means; the lady from by left with her morning coffee!

Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, “declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. This scripture came to mind as I was reflecting on the elevator lesson this morning; hopefully the following will help you throughout the week, that:
1)God hears all prayers; no prayer is too small or too big or irrelevant for Him to respond to.
2)Once we have prayed and petitioned God, leave the issue to Him; God knows how He will answer us.
3)Do not rationalize how the answer should come. It is not up to us to figure out how God will answer the prayer.
4)God may not respond exactly how we want the answer to come
5)Stay open to whichever way; means or person God will us to bring the answer.
6)Look out, God may bring the answer from a totally different direction or person; He may bring the answer through an unexpected source. 1 Corinthians 1:25
