GOD DOES NOT PUNISH US WITH EVIL

That’s tough to believe especially when you know you are doing everything right. Often when faced with challenges, we are quick to point the finger at ourselves. The common question is “what wrong did I do this time? God must be punishing me?

Aaa, aaah, wrong! You see Satan is called the accuser of the brethren for reason. Often, Satan will create the mess –adversity, then convince you to blame God. He knows when he does that, you will be mad at God, focus on the adversity and take your eyes off Satan while he-satan continue to stir up the pot! When your eyes are off Satan, you cannot deal with him. Yet Christ has given as the power to deal with Satan.

God disciplines His children a good father would do, but He does not punish them with evil. Beware of Satan’s tactics-When he takes you off focus, he can easily distract and finish you. Knows his ways and deal with Satan. He is to rebuked and commanded to leave. Resist the devil and he will flee. Command the mountain to move in Jesus name and the mountain will move.

God is merciful, God is gentle, and He is often there to defend us, forgive us, deliver us, heal and restore us. The Bible says God’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting. I love it when God showed Moses His glory, He said, I am the Lord, the Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin(Exodus 34:6-7). This means that even in your worst sin, God still forgives, heals and restores when we are repentant.

This week, focus on God’s love and faithfulness. Focus on his ability to forgive heal and restore. Focus on His mighty power to bring forth the needed waiting. Then use the power of Christ in you to confront and deal with Satan. You have the help of the Holy Spirit, Angels are also sent to minister and support you. God loves you, God does not punish you with evil, and Satan is the source of the evil. Lean on the upper arm, the greater, loving power of God our Father.
