These are commonly used phrases that we said to one another. Often with these are used with the intent to really bless or just religiously as a greeting. This week let’s purposely bless!

As we reflect in our lives, this week, consider the many blessings you have. A composer said we should count them one by one. Let start by blessing the Lord. The prayer of worship is the most potent type of prayer; it draws God’s presence. Worship touches God’s heart, the heavens are alerted by worship; so, bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within us bless the Lord.

Blessings are not limited to material things, this week , bless someone with a smile, bless them with a greeting, Hi, good morning, bless them with a post-it sticker with a scriptural promise ; bless them with a positive word that encourages and assures them, bless someone with a hug; there are days that people need a good snuggly genuine hug, bless them with a kind word, bless them with a prayer or an encouraging song, bless someone by just being there to listen, sometimes that is all that is needed, listening, bless them with a welcoming gesture; do you know that body language speaks volumes? Bless the person who offended/offends you, I know this can be hard; rise past the offense and just bless. You don’t need to be with them to bless them. But just say ‘Lord, I’ve forgiven them and now I bless them too.

This week’s word is BLESS, Let’s not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9. Blessed are those who bless. The world we know that we are Christians by our love for one another John 13:35

Blessings; God bless you

Foundations in any aspect are very critical in ensuring stability and longevity. Predictions and outcomes can be made based on foundations that were laid. Studies have shown this; and whether it is in our spiritual journeys, ministries or life, there remains emphasizes to lay the right foundation. However, God may ask you to dig deep and remove some heavy-duty dirt to take you to the next level.

It is the story of the wine skins. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, new wine is poured into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22.

If committed to being trained by God, He does this in stages and often the Holy Spirit will lead you to face unaddressed issues. God is so loving enough that He will allow you to mature to be able to handle what you have always ignored. That is why some deliverances are in stages. Normally these are matters of the heart. The pain, the anger, the bitterness, the unforgiveness, the trauma, the hurt, the wrong beliefs, the pride, the arrogance, the whining, the complaining, the wrong friends or relationships, the bad attitude, the self-pity, the poor identity, the selfishness, the low self-esteem, the procrastination, the laziness, the depression, the fear.

Slowly by slowly God will take you there to start dealing with them and bring you healing. Please note that all is in love. God loves you so much and desires to heal you so that He can do something new; give you the new wine. See when the junk is out, your heart becomes a new wine skin, deliverance occurs, you are set free then healing and restoration begins.

Since God has greater purposes for you, He also wants to ensure that you have laid the right foundation for where He is taking you next. Satan will try to reason with you to keep the junk. This is demon of oppression(stagnation) that wants to keep you from progressing in life and the things of God. Never allow the junk to keep you hostage.

This week dig deep, are there some things you need to let go? Are you ready for your deliverance and healing? At times, I went to God in tears crying “Lord this hurt is too difficult for me; help me, heal, deliver, help me Holy Spirit. Call on the Holy Spirit, He is our Helper. I am a testimony of being healed and delivered by God privately in prayer. This same God can do it for you.

2017 was declared a year of breakthrough. We are approaching the end of its first half. Take courage this week and dig deep. God wants to take you to a high HIGH

Quite often we generally take part and adopt “Christian behaviors” that we have seen commonly practiced. For instance, it common to see multiple commentaries with instructions to say or type Amen., share with 12 other people etc., etc. It is also very common to practice quoting scripture or promises; but it’s also very rare to see people receive those promises. That can lead to frustration, doubt in God and more disturbing religious acts that produce nothing. Rehearsing and quoting scriptures, proclaiming and declaring, extended fastings and self-denials and even giving, when done without love and faith are so pointless!

Without Faith, we cannot please God. Hebrews 11:6. Pleasing God means living and functioning in the will of God; Matthew 12:50. Not forgetting, God also checks the intents of the heart when quote, fast, decree these promises.

Faith is the authority we must activate and exercise to receive our breakthroughs. The Bible says through faith and patience/endurance we attain the promise Hebrews 6:12. Jesus frequently rebuked His disciples for the lack of faith. The Israelites perished in the desert because of unbelief. It is their unbelief that led to rebellion. Coming to think of it, I’m now convinced that to a believer, the lack of faith is what causes us to turn away from God for other alternatives.

Jesus taught that it only takes the faith of a mustard seed. Are you waiting for an answer to a prayer? This week do a faith assessment, what rating can you give it. If you lack faith, ask God to give it to you or to enhance that which you have. The Holy Spirit has many gifts, among them is the Spirit of Faith! 2 Corinthians 4 :13. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
•Before you prophesy, have faith
.Before you rebuke the devil, have faith that all authority has been given to you
•Before you declare, have faith
•Believe first then quote the Scripture/promise
•Have faith first, then say Amen
•Before you shout “fire”, be very careful what type/source of fire you are calling for. Have faith instead and ask God to fill you with the Spirit of fire (Matthew 3:11)
•Believe first, ask the Holy Spirit when and how long you should fast, then keep believing throughout your fast and after your fast.
•Have faith first before you pray, approach prayer believing God in advance

It is faith that says to this mountain move and it moves. It is faith that produces signs, miracles and wonders, Faith is the conduit through which the power of God flows. The power God is in the Word of God (each Bible verse). Faith is the conduit through which the Spirit of God moves, the Name of Jesus authorizes and the Blood of Jesus testifies. Faith is the authority we need for the fullness of the Holy Spirit to manifest.

Once I heard a dear sister respond; “Pauline, I am not going to no prophetic meetings. Every time a get prophesy hell breaks loose. I have had enough fights, no aint coming”

Matthew 13:20-21 caught my attention two weeks ago, it says-The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

The latter part of verse 21 is what caught my attention, Jesus saying that the fight/percussions come because of the word. The word here is the promise God gave you, what has been spoken over you. A God ordained declaration or prophesy over you. That is the word. Could it be that all along the fights, delays, frustrations, oppositions, resistances, gossips, betrayals, slander, hurt, name it, are all BECA– USE OF THE WORD YOU RECEIVED!

Ponder on that for a minute. Instead of fighting the enemy, REFOCUS on the promise, the declaration, the prophesy. Switch all your attention to these, because He who promised, He is sure to perform them to completion and to perfection. Philippians 1:6. God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

This week, instead of focusing on the devil and his antics, FOCUS ON THE PROMISE. It is highly likely that he is opposing that word. Satan tried Jesus too by offering other alternatives. But Jesus stood to the task of His assignment. You too can, because you now have this Jesus in you and you have a greater covenant that establishes you as co-heir, reigning victorious always with Jesus.

Focus on the word you received. The promises of God are all YES and ALL in Him Amen!
