I often pray that God may empty me and remove anything that is standing in way. That God fill and equip me with all is needed to do and complete His assignment here on earth. Not to realize that this process may involve twists and turns!

During morning devotion on four months ago, while praying the Holy Spirit dropped a thought and asked; could you consider that the “equipping and mending for God’s use may come in different forms?” Have you considered that this may involve unpleasant situations, hurt, pain, betrayal, intense spiritual warfare, etc.? These questions were quite intriguing and very revealing, but the interesting part was they were being presented while I was praying, so by mouth was praying in tongues but in my mind I was also receiving the questions! (still marveled, I learn something new from the Holy Spirit ALL the time-Lesson is to pay attention while you are praying; God speaks during prayer!)

The experience above supports the scripture that God is the potter and I am the clay; Jeremiah: 18. While being equipped for good use and for durability, we may go through a squeezing here, a sharpening there, a patterning here, a pinching there, and a molding somewhere. All are designed to make you fully fit and usable for tasks God has assigned us. Joseph is a perfect example of this!
So take courage, as we journey together in the Lord, let’s endure courageously. This week ask the Holy Spirit to expose what He is teaching you through the unpleasant situation or experience. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to react to the situation and the next steps. The Holy Spirit is our helper, He was assigned to guide us in ALL TRUTH and He will. Persevere and stay connected and in tune with the Holy Spirit until you achieve the breakthrough. From personal experience, I have learned that whenever this happens is because:
(1) there is a character area God wants to expose and clean up,
(2) there is some deeper knowledge He wants to show you,
(3) you are being prepared for a spiritual elevation.

God’s ultimate goal is to prepare us fully for His use. So endure the squeeze, the hurt, the molding, the occasional spattering with water and the kneading. It could be that God is molding you to be a fully loaded vessel; readily — USER FRIENDLY for His purposes!

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20).

God’s got you! -Be encouraged as you begin this new month that God is with you, you are not alone. He is with you to direct your path, give you counsel and also direct you in wisdom. In times of solitude or loss, God promises to never leave you comfortless but yet to provide the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to be in fellowship with you. God is our defense and ultimate protection. He is our shield, the lifter of our heads and healer. Jesus Himself assures us that He will not let any of His sheep get lost. The Lord is our shepherd.

I encourage you to continue to pursue your dreams, dream big. God designed you in His image, He does things in magnanimous ways, so dream big. Pursue greater things, take calculated risks, venture out, embrace change, and stay flexible to what God wants to do with and for you. God’s gotcha!

If you slip or have slipped, get up, the righteous fall but rise up again. Proverbs 24:16. Repent and move on for now there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. As far I am concerned, God does not remember your sins, you are free. Move on God’s grace is sufficient for you. Fear not, only be strong!

This same God, has provided a way out of escape from every temptation. He has equipped you with every good gift to accomplish your destiny. In weakness, He makes you strong. Since He is with you, He has straightened your paths, making them clear and straight. He has flattened the mountains, raised the valleys and filled them. With Him, you are renewed with new strength like an eagle and filled with new wine and new oil!called-to-ministry

This week, Jesus calls you friend, a co-heir, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood reigning in life with Him. This is your new identity in Christ. Doing all things in Him. In Him you glory that He may be glorified. This week move on, press on, dream big, pursue. The Commander of the armies of the Lord is with you. For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9)
